OLA is a free, accredited, public online school offering students anywhere in Colorado a rigorous curriculum taught by highly qualified, experienced teachers. We understand that not all students fit the traditional school mold, and we are pleased to offer a positive choice to those unique students still searching for an effective way to meet their educational needs.

Congratulations to OLA teachers Ethan Huff and Wayne Sheldrake! They were two of the three secondary online teachers receiving the state-wide 2012 Online Teacher Recognition Award by the Colorado Department of Education for excellence in online teaching.

2012 TCAP Growth. OLA had the highest high school TCAP (state assessment) growth scores of any multidistrict online high school for the 2011-2012 school year.
